Free Foundations of Freedom Documents – International

Foundations of Freedom Documents Set

Foundations of Freedom Documents set Get a free Foundations of Freedom Documents set featuring the  U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Gettysburg Address from the ACLJ.  I could see many uses for this – homeschooling, classrooms or just an interesting point of discussion.

I don’t know about you, but I love my freedoms and will work to defend them if I think they are ever in any real jeopardy.  I don’t frequently get political.  I have received these documents before, so I know that they do come.  I am glad to see that they are still available.

Free WWII Poster for Teachers (US by Mail – International Download)

Free WWII Poster for Teachers

Free WWII Poster Free WWII Poster for teachers from the National WWII Museum.  If you are in the United States, they will mail you a free poster.  If you are elsewhere, you can print it in PDF.  World War II was a war that changed the world for ever.  The changes were not limited to just political and social upheavals, however.  Science and technology developed during the era still permeates our society today.

Can you imagine our world without the wonders of antibiotics? Until the discovery of antibiotics, more soldiers died from infection than weapons. Now, they are a common part of our lives. Thanks to antibiotics, my mother is alive.  A new math called Operations Research was developed.  It’s still used to schedule flights and deliveries to stores.  Hand-held walkie-talkies used a new material we are all very familiar with.  Perhaps you have heard of plastic?  The first jet aircraft also debuted on the scene.  Travelling home for the holidays is much easier, now.  There are lots of other important discoveries and inventions that we still use today.  Ask for them to mail you a poster, or download it to learn more.

You do have to be a teacher to request it by mail.  It doesn’t ask if it’s a homeschool, public school or private school, so it’s probably OK for homeschoolers to request it.  If you have any doubts, you can contact the museum about the free WWII poster to ask.   Anyone can download it.
