Honey Bunches of Oats Raisin Medley Product Review

Pros: Taste, Nutritional value of whole grains, Not too sweet

Cons: Not enough raisins, Gets soggy in milk, Doesn’t specify what kind of raisins are in it despite saying there are three. They all look and taste the same.

Bought this product at: Walmart

The flakes get soggy too fast and there aren’t nearly enough raisins. The flavor isn’t bad, so it’s edible… as long as you eat it FAST!

Quaker Oatmeal Squares Product Review

Pros: Stays Crunchy in milk, lightly sweet – not too sweet, good nutritional value

Cons: BHT – wouldn’t use an artificial preservative, make the bites a little smaller

Bought this product at: Hyvee

Quaker Oatmeal Squares doesn’t contain gelatin like some other cereal products, do, but it does contain the artificial preservative BHT. The texture is crunchy and the hint of maple syrup is not overwhelming or too sweet. It also doesn’t get soggy in milk, which is a good thing for some of us that are slower eaters.
