Enter to win a Juppy Baby Walker.  You can even pick the color you want it in and the name you want embroidered on it!  My niece is expecting her first child, a boy, in May and I got her one of these as a baby shower gift.  I can’t wait to give it to her!

Babies that are learning to walk frequently want the independence of walking.  They don’t always want to be carried, and it can be hard on the back carrying them all the time.  It’s not always easy to help them walk either.  You are leaning over in a stooped over position with a baby grasping to your fingers toddling along.  If they fall, you are off-balance and catching them before they hit their head may not be as easy as you think.  My son hit his head on the coffee table when he was learning to walk in this manner.  Since I was bent over already, I couldn’t grab him fast enough when his sweaty little hand slipped out of my hand and he went skidding to the side.  It wasn’t a major incident, but it could have been.

The Juppy baby walker is designed to fix these issues.  It has soft hand grips and adjustable straps to help parents or grandparents help baby learn how to walk.  You can use the Juppy with your child whether you are short or tall.  It easily accommodates heights from 4’11 to 6’11.   As an added bonus, the babies hands are also free so they can get used to balancing without having to have someone hold their hands.  They are free to use their fingers to explore their world.  The Juppy baby walker is also much safer than traditional wheeled walkers, which have even been banned in Canada.  Unlike traditional wheeled walkers, the Juppy is doctor recommended.  It comes in three colors, including blue and cream (shown above), pink and cream, and black and yellow.

If parents know anything, it’s that babies can be messy.  The Juppy is 100% cotton and machine washable.

A zipper in the back offers easy in-and-out access.  The back is reinforced with two overlapping Velcro straps for safety and security.  The Juppy Momentum, the model I’m giving away in this review, is designed to hold children up to 35 pounds.   This is also suitable for children with special needs and may help develop fine and gross motor skills.
