A growing number of Christians are changing their diet and consumer purchases because the way animals are treated in factory farms is inconsistent with their beliefs. Man - I remember when I was trying to potty train my kids! I thought I was going to pull my hair out. I had one child that was autistic and refused to use the toilet and another I was trying my best to potty train and he was two. The internet didn't exist at the time and I didn't have an online parenting resource helping parents with tips on things like Potty training. I sure wish they did! I could have used a DVD (or in those days, a VHS Tape) to help with potty training success! I am so glad that those days are behind me now and my kids are beyond potty training. Do you have a Kindle? I know they are all the rage. My friend, Marie, has one. As much as I like to read, but don't like carrying around heavy 1000+ page books, I should probably get one. What do you think of them? At any rate, here are some links for free books for your Kindle if you have one: * Amazon has a listing of top Kindle books. The ones on the left are paid, the 100 on the right are free books for the Kindle. * Project Gutenberg is the place where you can download over 33,000 free ebooks to read on your PC, iPad, Kindle, Sony Reader, iPhone, Android or other portable device. * ManyBooks.net has more than 29,000 eBooks available here and they're all free! They have formats for just about every possible device, I think - and many popular books and the great classics. I may not have a Kindle, but I'd downloading the American Indian stories in .rtf format and gonna read it in MS Word. * If Science Fiction is your thing, be sure to check out the Baen Free Library. 3 pages of free books (including my favorite, Destiny's Child), are available to download in a number of different formats for your computer, Kindle or other eReader. * You can Discover Great Ebooks from Indie Authors and Publishers on Smashworlds as well. They have over 300 pages of eBooks on various topics. Some of them can be adult - but you can use their humorously named "Prude Filter" to turn them off, which limits it to a mere 250 pages of free eBooks. They cover everything from Romance, self-help, religious, drama, poetry, career building books, mystery, sci-fi and more than I can shake a stick at!
