Baby Magic No-Rinse Wash Review and Giveaway
Taking some alcohol wipes or alcohol gel crossed my mind, but one of the girl’s (or my husband’s) sensitive skin might break out. The alcohol dries out the skin and some of the artificial fragrances in the gels trigger allergies. I got to thinking about it and nothing is gentler than products created for a baby’s skin, so I decided to try take this new Baby Magic No-Rinse Wash. It’s hypoallergenic and does not contain alcohol, so I don’t have to worry about drying out the kids’ skin or them having an allergic reaction.
It dispenses in a thick foam that you just rub in and wipe off. Since water is unnecessary, Baby Magic No-Rinse Wash is perfect for on-the-go. Just one pump goes a long way, as well. Just squirt one pump of the thick foam into your hand and target those dirty spots. The foam makes it so much easier to clean up!
Bonus! My hands did not get sticky after using Baby Magic No-Rinse Wash. It is a convenient, safe and effective method of keeping your baby (or yourself) clean when using water is undesirable or not an option. The pleasantly light, powdery scent dissipates quickly and doesn’t compete with any other scent you enjoy wearing. I love the fragrance! When my boys were little, Baby Magic was my preferred brand. I would coat them in it and just snuggle them and smell them all day. Baby Magic No-Rinse Wash has that same scent, but it’s much lighter making it perfect for adults, as well as babies.
Baby Magic No-Rinse Wash is free of all the things I try to avoid putting on my skin, much less my children’s or a small baby. It is free of the following:
- Alcohol-Free: Alcohol can dry the skin out.
- Paraben-Free: Parabens that are applied on the skin may react with sunlight leading to increased skin aging and DNA damage.
- Tear-Free: Babies (and kids) wiggle and squirm. This shouldn’t burn their eyes. Obviously, I haven’t gone out of my way to test this theory.
- Dye-Free: The Baby Magic No-Rinse Wash is colorless. It has no dyes at all.
- Phthalate-Free: Phthalates were banned in the US for any children’s toys or child-care items. It hasn’t been banned from cosmetics or other lotions and soaps and is linked to cancer, obesity and is an endocrine disrupter. I feel safer using this product on myself and my older children since it doesn’t have Phthalates.
- pH balanced and Hypoallergenic.
Baby Magic No-Rinse Wash comes in a 7 oz bottle, making it the perfect size to tuck into a diaper back or purse. However, it is larger than TSA regulations allow through the airport, so traveling parents take note and don’t put it in your carry-on. If you eat out with a baby, this will be gentler for the baby’s skin than alcohol wipes and you don’t have to worry about hauling the baby to the bathroom to clean up. Just massage a bit of the No-Rinse on the skin and wipe away with a napkin. TaDa – clean as new! Now, if only my house would clean itself that easily…
My niece just had a baby, and I am putting together a gift basket for her. Baby Magic No-Rinse Wash will definitely be going into it!
