Free Health Information for Women
The Office of Research on Women’s Health has several free books and posters for you. The posters are on the bottom of the page (and they all come with a VHS tape). I am getting A Primer for Women’s Health: Learn About Your Body in 52 Weeks for my 10 year old daughter. I will look through it first to make sure it’s age appropriate – but what a great way for her to learn. US only
AMBER’S NOTE: We received this - and it’s very thorough – but on a pretty basic level. It’s a huge book! Very nice.

- Two Free History Posters Get a free Historical Thinking poster and a free Civil War Poster - It doesn't ask for any school information, so I *think* this is available to everyone, and you can put "other" in the fields where it asks about job, school, etc. US only ...
- Free Through the Eyes of the Eagle books for kids Get free "Eagle Books" from the CDC for kids. Eagle books use animals to teach children about healthy lifestyles. It's part of the Native Diabetes Wellness Program in partnership with the Tribal Leaders Diabetes Committee. To get the free books, click on "Order Books" from the menu on the right below the picture of the eagle and the boy. You can order multiple copies of some of these for classrooms - and some of them are printable coloring books....
- Free bird seeds, 2 posters and a sticker – US/Canada Get a free "Celebrate Urban Birds!" Kit from Cornell. You will get two free posters, a free sticker, and a pack of bird seeds to feed the wild feathered friends. They also include a data sheet for you to track what birds you see. If you let them know whether or not you saw the target birds, it will be a boone to their research. They want to know even if you see none because "Zero Means a Lot". This will be very fun to do with my kids! US/Canada...
