Free American Byways Fold-out map
Order a free fold-out map featuring 150 America’s Byways. (this is good in the US, Canada and Mexico). You know, it’s been so long since I’ve used a real map. I’ve become dependent on my GPS and Google Maps. Seeing this makes me miss the days where you would actually look at a map to determine which route to take. It wasn’t just fastest route or shortest route on the map – your trip could be determined by what was near-by – or a town with an interesting name. Maps could help you plan your trip with so much imagination.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not about to throw out using my GPS or online mapping system in favor of a paper map anytime soon – especially when I am usually looking for the fastest and/or shortest point between two distances. Maps do not do that well. However, the next time I want to throw caution to the wind and take a carefree road trip, I will turn to a map. I am looking forward to getting this fold-out map featuring 150 America’s Byways.
